Just Passin Thru is nestled a mile from the Conecuh River in Goshen, Alabama. A country comfort escape, paired with city convenience, this Farm House hosts two private bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths. A beautiful view of the expansive countryside can be enjoyed while grilling on the porch. This awesome space is only a 15 minute drive from Troy (231) & a 22 minute drive from 331 in Luverne.
The cottage is located on County Road 2243 nestled under the pines. The front porch welcomes you as a place to rest, rock and reflect. Bring your cards or board games and engage in a little competition outside while enjoying the scenery & fresh air. In the evenings the night sky is remarkable! Turn out the lights and enjoy star gazing for hours!!!
This Farm House sleeps 6. It host an open spacious living area, fully stocked kitchen, and dining area. Enjoy the luxury of lounging and watching a Smart TV on the couch! For your convenience there is a 1/2 bath and full laundry room right off the kitchen area. To the right of the kitchen is the master suite. It houses a king size bed, Smart TV, and en-suite bathroom . This bathroom encompasses a stunning large tile shower with glass door. The master suite also has its own private entrance and porch for your enjoyment. Across the living room is the guest bedroom that hosts two queen beds. This bedroom also has a en-suite bathroom with shower and tub unit. Enjoy the Smart TV as you chill in the bed or relax and read in the swivel chair. This living space is perfect for relaxing and enjoying family time.
Parking is available in front of the cottage for all guests. Please DO NOT park off asphalt drive. We do not want to damage septic system or lines.
Dining is only minutes away. The Old Barn Restaurant is located approximately two miles up the same county road. It is open from 4 pm to 8 pm Thursday-Saturday and serves country homemade cooking on Sundays from 11 am- 2 pm. The Old Barn has won the award for Alabama's Best Steak and the Best Catfish award for Alabama.
This location would be perfect for long term Corporate rental, an overnight hunting trip, a stop on the way to the beach, ball tournament, or a TU football game or event.

Driving is the best way to see the beautiful countryside. You could be enjoying a savor a meal from The Old Barn Restaurant on Thur. - Friday nights. Only 12 minutes away is Sips on the Square, one of Troy's finest eateries.
Guests will enjoy the amazing front porch with outdoor furniture to enjoy the serenity of Country Life. Free parking spaces available in the front of the cottage. Back Porch hosts a grill and beautiful view. The guest have the entire house. No area is shared. No Pets allowed on premises. No smoking inside. Please do not throw cigarette butts down on the ground. Park only on asphalt.
-Quiet Hours 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
– No Animals on the property
– No Smoking or vaping inside the home. If you smoke or vape outside, please be considerate of other guests. Properly discard of Butts and clean ash trays after each use.
-Check out time is by 11:00am.
-Check-in is at 4:00pm. or after. We do allow for a requested early check in for an additional charge if the property is clean and ready.
-Keep exterior doors closed.
– Keep porch lights off unless you need them. They attract bugs.
-Turn all water, appliances, and lights off when you leave .
– Do Not Open Windows
Children must not run on porches, inside the retreat or be excessive noisy inside. The massive grounds provide ample fun space for running and playing.
-Closely supervise children at all times
-Your guest count and your vehicle count must be accurate or you may be asked to leave without refund. Visitors are counted as guests. There is a $5 per person per night additional charge for guests after four. Visitors must be included in the guest count. You may park up to three vehicles free. There is a $20 additional charge per vehicle per reservation for each vehicle after four.
-Fishing is allowed for $10 per day per person. Message us with number who want to fish and day please. We will message you details.
-If you break the house rules you can be asked to leave without a refund.
-NO PETS ALLOWED!!!
-Do not throw cigarette butts on ground.
-Do not park off asphalt. It could damage septic system or lines.
-Quiet Hours: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM
-Please take trash out to can on left side of the garage when you leave.
-Wash any dishes used and put them back in place.
-Turn out all lights when you exit.
-Leave thermostat set -Heat – 62; AC 75
-Please notify Michelle when you depart through the app.
Short Term:
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
Long Term:
Full refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking and at least 28 days before check-in. After that, the first 30 days of the stay are non-refundable.
